Celebrating the Earth

As we celebrate Earth Week, and move into the sign of Taurus, a very grounding earth sign, the planetary energies are reminding us of the importance of being and staying grounded.  This means both to be grounded and fully present in our bodies and staying connected with the energies of the earth itself, being in tune with the energies of the earth and nature.  It is a time to re-member and honor our bodies and the body of our dear Earth Mother.

In the sacred language of Kum Vita, the syllables AM DOR evoke the Earth element, and KRI AM DOR evokes the higher octave of this element, the energy of the New Earth.  These frequencies are part of our divine blueprint, and are literally em-bodied in the 5th Lumbar Vertebrae, which resonates with the syllables KRI AM DOR!

AM DOR means the living foundation.   KRI AM DOR is the higher octave of this living foundation, the Diamond earth energy. As the earth is ascending, this energy of KRI AM DOR, this higher octave of the earth energy, is being birthed.  We are literally laying the living foundation at this time for the reality of a New Earth.

These syllables call us to focus not only on the sacredness of the earth and the all important foundation the earth is for our being, but also to remember the sacredness of the earth that is our physical body and to honor the health of our physical body, our physical manifestation.

We are called to remember that the earth herself and our physical bodies are completely connected with one another, and one cannot be healthy without the other. It is time to fully realise and honour this beautiful foundation that we have, without which we could do nothing. It is the foundation which allows our spiritual work and our work in the world. It allows us to be fully who we are .

We are electrical as well as physical beings, and like all electrical circuits it is important that the electricity in our body be grounded.  We ground our energy field and bodies by connecting our energetic roots into the earth and accessing the earth's electric and magnetic fields. When we do this, we access a neutral, stabilizing energy. So it gives our nervous system a neutral resting place, and it gives us  a neutral ground from which to operate.  In these chaotic times, and when so much around us is changing, this neutral earth quality is vitally important.

So when we get busy, when there’s so much to do, so much chaos outside of us in the collective, it is super important to really nurture this grounding energy, to do all the things we can to facilitate our grounding and staying centered in the body.  This neutral ground allows us to move within a chaotic or busy situation and not get lost in the chaos or busyness.  And as the frequency of the earth herself is raising, it becomes even more important to find that neutral foundation to keep ourselves centred and moving from a strong inner foundation.  Being out on the earth, walking on the earth is always a good way to do this.  Walking barefoot on grass or a sandy beach, or just spending time being in nature grounds our electrical systems and recharges and revitalizes us.

In the five elements system of Chinese acupuncture the earth element relates to the stomach, spleen and pancreas energies. This means it is a good time to take care of and nurture the earth element in our bodies – the stomach, spleen and pancreas and to make sure that we are being kind to our digestive system.  Earth element is connected with the taste of sweetness. It is important to keep that energy of sweetness in a balanced state. Not too much emphasis on sweet foods in the diet, but giving ourselves the good carbs that we might need to keep ourselves in a relaxed state. A balanced amount of good carbohydrates supports our serotonin levels and balanced serotonin levels will allows us to feel more relaxed in our body, more calm and peaceful.

Among the emotional qualities of the earth element are sympathy and empathy. As sensitive beings, we see all the suffering and chaos around us and we naturally resonate and empathise with all the suffering that is taking place. As we are raising in frequency as a collective, it is of course important to feel this resonance and connection to the greater whole.  It  is beautiful that we can do this, but we run the risk of too much empathy if our earth element is out of balance,  losing our own sense of self, and taking on energies that undermine our well-being. The key as always is balance.

So one of the practices we can do to bring our earth element into balance is to focus on the area of the 5th lumber vertebrae, just above the sacrum, at the bottom of the spine. Repeat silently, once on the in breath, and once on the out breath, the syllables KRI AM DOR, for at least 8 full breaths. You can do this any time you feel out of balance or ungrounded.

This evokes the sacred earth, the New Earth energies, providing us with a neutral, centred, safe and stable foundation from which to move and operate.  It also helps to balance the earth element in our bodies. With this simple practice we honor

the sacred foundation of our Earth Mother, the health of our bodies, the emerging frequencies of the New Earth and our balanced and loving connection with each other and all life.
